"Glove and war: all is fair" is a game inspired by punch-out with one main difference. You are the one that fights dirty. Use a combination of moves without getting caught to overpower your opponent and achieve victory.  But watch out, your opponent may look slow but he throws some mean weight behind those punches!

Punch, kick, block and cheat your way to victory but keep your eye on the red bar to the right, if it exceeds its bounds you'll get caught. Tactics are key to overpower your opponent.  Your enemies also have weak spots that'll hurt them twice as much, so keep your eyes peeled and remember: All is fair in glove and war.

Really cool idea and it's pretty fun.

The dodge is a bit weird to time. Sometimes it seems to work and sometimes it doesn't. It would also be nice that if you held the key it wouldn't spam the dodge animation, it's a bit disorienting.

Also, since the health bar goes down so slowly it's hard to tell when I'm actually doing damage. I think it'd be beter to show much health did he have originally to help with this.

Lovely game. The art is really fun and well made!

When trying to dodge, it's almost impossible. I don't know when he will throw a punch and if he does, it's instantly. I don't know when he dies or if he can die. Because the red line at the top won't go down after some punches.

The game definately has potential because it has some fun movement and funny sprites :)

Nice game lmao hah

Pretty cool start, definitely has potential, do think there's a few issues:

Some things could give some more feedback, like when your attacks don't cause damage.

Some abilities feel a lot less important than others, in my winning attempt I didn't use stagger at all, and it felt like blocking was rarely all that good or necessary.

Holding dodge to continuously dodge in that direction would be nice.

However, there's a very solid base that can definitely build into a very fun game with some more polish and perhaps a tutorial.

Interesting concept, although some parts are not (yet) clear to me; I think I need some sort of tutorial to 'get it'. Might also be that certain feedback (from what i do) is not yet clear to me
